The deadline to participate in the Giving Common Challenge has passed. Only organizations with profiles published by September 24th, 2012 will be eligible to participate in the Giving Common Challenge. We are currently processing profiles that were submitted by or on August 1st.
The 2012 Giving Common Challenge will last 36 hours from 10.10.2012-10.11.2012. During this time, nonprofit organizations with published Giving Common profiles will be eligible to receive part of a $150,000 challenge grant pool donated by the Boston Foundation. Prizes and rules are now available.
Participating in the challenge is exciting, and we have provided some materials to help you prepare.
During the Giving Common Challenge the credit card process will vary slightly from that described here. Notable differences are that nonprofit gift notifications will be available for more immediate access and the check process and timing will vary slightly. Our goal with both changes will be to efficiently serve your organization during this high-volume event.
